学好英语重要的是，我们需要积极的态度。兴趣能调动学生学习英语的积极性。那么，如何引发学生的兴趣呢？
我们都知道，学好英语需要一个讲英语的环境是。把一个人扔在这种环境中，他肯定是学得非常迅速、牢固的。在你刚出生时，没有专门教你母语，但我们确实掌握这种语言，因为我们生活在这样的环境，每天都接触它。因此，学习英语的捷径是生活在一个讲英语的国家，如美国或英国；或者结识外国男/女朋友。但似乎我国当前有这样的问题：大多数家庭都难以承受出国的财政负担，也不是每个人都这么幸运有一个外国的情人。我们该如何模拟这样的英语环境？许多大学都尽力打造这样的环境，如播放原汁原味的外国电影，聘用外籍教师，组织各种英语活动等等，但结果并未能如尽人意。原因之一是相比之下努力空间太小，之二是学生太多。
如何模拟大到足以容纳所有的学生满足他们需求的空间呢？利用强大的网络技术！正如我们所了解，网络是知识的海洋，其涵括了各种资源，但有时使用起来也不容易。如何让学生接触到他们真正需要的信息？如何尽快地搜索有用的信息？这需要花上一个学期的时间来掌握，而不是没个学生都有这么多时间去消耗的。身为老师的我们应该重新排列和组织学生所需的资源，在网络上搜索；建设我们自己的网页，提供充满有用的学习资源来弥补学校书本的不足。在我们的主页上，不同的学生可以找到适合他们自身水平的不同材料，避免同样的教育模式。同等的教育模式是英语学的的致命伤，每个人都是独立的个体，相对之下，其教育模式也不同。
